A permanent exhibition depicts Kiel's shipping history in a shut down fish hall directly at the Kiel harbour. It deals with the shipbuilding scene at the Kieler Fjord as well as the sailing sport.�Several ship's models, nautical instruments and figure-heads inform about the shipping history.��
During the summer half-year there is the possibility to view three old vintage ships on the museum's bridge at the neighbouring Museum Harbour: the lifeboat "Hindenburg", the fire-fighting boat "Kiel" and the buoy dropper "Bussard". More information
